• A supportive, nonjudgmental space
• Collaborative and client-centered
• Grounded in evidence-based practices
• Focused on building resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change
• Respectful of your pace, experiences, and goals

Therapy with me isn’t:

• A place where you are told what to do without collaboration
• Surface-level or rushed through your healing process
• Focused solely on symptoms without addressing the whole person

About Chastety Ivaniuk, LCSW, CCTP

Hi, I’m Chastety Ivaniuk, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker—and I’d love to share a bit about how I found my path in the world of mental health.

My journey began with a deep curiosity about the human mind, our relationships, and the stories that shape who we are. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology, followed by two master’s degrees—one in Social Work and the other in Addiction Counseling.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings: school-based programs, community outpatient services, substance use treatment centers, and with the homeless community. I began by supporting children and families through crisis intervention in schools, and each experience helped me understand more deeply the power of connection, compassion, and purpose.

One thing became very clear to me: so many people carry wounds you can’t see—unspoken pain, untold stories, unresolved trauma. I realized that my purpose was to hold space for those stories, to offer a voice where there had been silence, and to create a place where healing could begin—a space where pain could be met with compassion and resilience could be rediscovered.

A meaningful part of my journey included my therapy dog, who joined me in sessions and brought a unique sense of calm and comfort to clients. Watching her help others feel safe and seen inspired me to invite more of that presence into the therapy space. Her passing was a deep loss, but it strengthened my commitment to integrating animal companionship into my work. I’m now completing certification in Animal-Assisted Therapy, and I hope to continue welcoming pets as part of the healing process—for those who feel comforted by their presence.

Today, through my private practice, I provide evidence-based, trauma-informed care for adolescents, adults, and families. My approach draws from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based Therapy. My work is rooted in the belief that your story matters, your healing has purpose, and therapy should honor your unique journey—whether you're working through loss, healing from past pain, managing life’s challenges, or seeking a deeper connection with who you are.

This is personalized therapy for a purpose-driven life—because healing begins when we feel seen, supported, and safe.
